Frequently Asked Questions about Structural Ergonomics

Clear answers about technical furniture design, load distribution, and lumbar support principles.

  1. It is the study and application of engineering principles to design furniture that efficiently distributes body loads, optimizes support angles, and minimizes fatigue in industrial workstations.

  2. Using human silhouette diagrams and biomechanical analysis, we identify areas such as the lumbar region, ischial tuberosities, and dorsal region to design supports that redistribute weight and keep the spine in a neutral position.

  3. We combine high-strength light wood for the structure with composites and variable-density foams, covered with technical fabrics, to achieve the perfect balance between firmness, adaptability, and durability.

  4. Yes. We analyze the specific tasks, duration of use, and repetitive movements of each workstation to adjust angles, heights, and support points, creating tailored solutions that improve productivity and well-being.

  5. Technical furniture, based on cross-sectional plans and load calculations, prevents musculoskeletal injuries, reduces absenteeism, and increases long-term operational efficiency, offering a significant return on investment.

Our essence

Technical design with the human at the center

We are a studio specialized in structural ergonomics, dedicated to transforming industrial workspaces through the scientific analysis of body loads and support angles.

Who we work for

We design for manufacturers, industrial workshops, and companies that prioritize the health and efficiency of their teams in demanding production environments.

Solutions that reduce fatigue and increase productivity.

Our positioning

Pioneers in the fusion of precision engineering with furniture design, where every curve and support responds to a biomechanical analysis.

It's not just design, it's engineering applied to comfort.

Our tone

Clear, technical, and reliable communication. We speak the language of efficiency and postural health, with tangible data and results.

Technical precision, explained with clarity.

Our promise

Every workstation we design is an active support system, optimizing the interaction between the operator and their tool.

Design that supports, ergonomics that prevents.

Our Story

From Biomechanics to Design

An evolution focused on human structural support

MobilyaBenim was born from a deep study on the distribution of body loads in industrial environments. We observed that traditional furniture design ignored the fundamental principles of structural ergonomics, leading to fatigue and injuries. Our first milestone was the development of a patented adjustable lumbar support system, which redistributes spinal pressure in static workstations.

This technical approach led us to collaborate with engineers and physiotherapists, refining load angles and contact points. Today, our designs integrate light wood with slate gray structures, creating stations that are not only functional but also visualize support through section planes and human silhouette diagrams.
